Portfolio Reviews
Portfolio Review With Kelsey: starting out, it can be hard to get access to feedback on your portfolio (especially if you aren't in a school setting). I would like to make this more accessible by offering digital portfolio reviews. These are meant for beginner or intermediate illustrators who feel like they need someone to give them constructive critique specific to the kid lit industry.
I will review 5-10 pieces of work for your kid lit (or similar) portfolio and give you feedback on:
- Overall Portfolio Content (what is lacking, what are you doing well, what work types should you add)
- Character Development (expression, range, what other characters to include)
- Areas of Potential Improvement & Skills to Build On (what are you doing well and can keep pushing)
- Color Feedback
- Technical Feedback (This may be something I perceive you could add skill wise to making the most of documenting your art)
Once I have received your payment I will contact you via the email you supplied during check out. I will ask you to send me 5-10 portfolio images and after receipt of that email I will provide feedback within 7-10 business days (if longer, due to any scheduling conflicts I will let you know in the initial email to you). Clarifying questions can be addressed in a followup email.
